Cold laser therapy is a non-invasive procedure that uses light energy to penetrate tissue, increasing blood circulation, stimulating cell regeneration, and decreasing inflammation. At Severna Park Veterinary Hospital, we use our cold laser to speed healing and minimize post-operative inflammation in our surgical patients. We also use it as a treatment for a variety of problems including arthritis, sprains or strains, wound healing, and chronic injuries. It can be particularly helpful as part of the treatment plan in patients who are already on multiple medications for arthritis or chronic injuries, or who are not good candidates for daily oral pain medications.

Cold laser treatment is provided with all our surgical procedures including dentals. We also offer laser therapy treatment packages for the treatment of more chronic problems such as arthritis.
